Alternative ARs to the G36?

That probably explains why some of you that have a DPS nerf of more than 15%.

Between the -15% nerf and the latest +20% buff, my G36 has a base dmg of 106k. 

But the buff was only vs player. Not sure why it's up

Yeah, I'm on PS4.  My 182 sidearm was a little better, but my current one works.

I think the one I have is a very basic 45.  My 182 was a midgrade 45 with Elite and Brutal on it, damn thing wrecked purple and red enemies and had like 80-82k DPS (pre-1.3).

I ran Falcon lost on Heroic last night.  3 tries and 3 fails (usually on the last couple of rounds).  We completed it multiple times pre-G36 nerf in the same place using the same gear etc.

I believe the G36 nerf has hit hard when getting swarmed and not being able to take out the grenaders quickly enough which allows then to turn you to jelly from multiple angles.

I changed from my G36 Enhanced to a G36C I picked up with 2k DPS better and self preserved & sustained (took a 100K toughness drop switching back to Sentries Call so wanted more healing).  When I did switch to the G36C the recoil was terrible.  Only my L86 with a rate of fire mag is worse (that LMG is totally uncontrollable at that increased RoF but it is not modded as a primary weapon for me).  I will switch back to my G36 Enhanced to see if there is any improvement and if the difference is also between the models of G36 as well as the nerf.

The pain is so REAL RIGHT NOW!

I ran three Challenge Underground missions last night and got one Gear item I could use (240GS) ... even then I had to respec it or my toughness would nose dive.

More importantly I'm still trying to get a weapon to drop that's better than the 204GS G36C I had drop on only my 2nd Underground mission on only Hard!! Its now a base of DPS of 76k  and what did I get as a weapon drop from my CACHE in The Underground, during a CHALLENGE mission??

a 204GS G36 ... DPS .. 75k 

I've even had the Enhanced version drop... still worse! The talents don't improve them either and I'd still have to respec the guns.

I don't even like how the C version looks... I'd love a normal version (I put that one in my stash because it looked so nice). So honestly, even if I don't get a "better" weapon, I want one AS GOOD but looks better...because I'm that vain! LOL!

*Note my current GS is 220*

I don't really like the look of the stock (military) G36 with the carry handle.  I like the enhanced look.  I like the LVOA-C look best for an AR though.  I have the Cottonmouth snake skin (blue and white) on mine.

I prefer the look of the full length G36 over both the short C version and the Enhanced one with its rails etc. That said I wonder if they have the K version in the game (its the LMG version similar to the L86LSW but can be fed from a box magazine - 100 rounds I think)?

Oh the P90 actually IS in the game by the way ... you just can't carry it personally, its the gun used on the support station turrets (look closely).

But I'd just love a normal G36 with better stats than I have now in game! LOL

Picked up a really good Gear Score 229 PP-19 last night after a couple of Hard & Challenge Underground runs with a nice high base DPS of 75k but I need to recalibrate one of the talents so I can get them all active but ... I'M OUT OF PHOENIX CREDITS!!! NOOOOO!! (well, I have about 8 left lol!)

It already has the fast reload talent and I hope to add the other for more Crit % boost ... its base is 45% ... I know its capped but... I want maximum!! lol

Time to get back to HVT's.
