yeah, a friend told me this last night..thats unheard of and quite frankly, stupid as hell. people are just going to farm the hell out of the bosses more than ever before, and most of the player community will have all the HE gear and weapons in no time. makes no sense what so ever in my opinion

now i might agree with the main boss in challenge missions giving everyone on the team a 100% HE drop , that seems fair. but out in the world like the DZ. no way, dont agree with that at all

People will seriously be camping Spawn points in the DZ to make sure they are there to get the kill, holding it like turf

just read the link you posted, seems they want people to be less dependent on crafting and be more focused on playing the game and kill level 30+ bosses

Increase drop rates of High-End items on named NPCs (100% drop rate, actually)

Increase drop rates of Division Tech, to make it less of a bottleneck than it currently is

Modify loot tables for each named NPC, to make the hunt for loot more controlled

Increase conversion costs of lower quality materials to high quality ones, making it harder to convert low quality materials into high quality ones

Decrease construction yields, making it less interesting to farm lower quality items in order to obtain crafting materials, and because you’ll get more High-End items as a whole

Increase cost of crafting High-End items, because High-End materials will be much easier to come by

If they what us to be less focused on crafting, they might as well just get rid of crafting all together.

Although it does seem like a bit much, this seems like their way of keeping the DZ relevant with the drop of Incursions and the new gear you can get from there. It will be interesting to say the least if it is something they decide to stick with in the long haul.

This is what happens when you have enough people crying about a certain thing, they overcompensate. However I do think that once 1.1 comes out and there are gear sets to collect a lot of dropped HE items will probably end up turning into materials because they can't match the newer gear. Either way I'm pumped for incursions next week! ALMOST HERE GUYS!

yeah...looking forward to the incursions myself...gonna get our asses handed to us for a few days before we all figure it out..sounds like fun HAHA

Maybe doing Blizzards trick ... Boss spawn rate for individual item is high  but drop of the other parts of the SET are so tiny that the chances can be calculated using gravitational wave theory or spherical chickens in a vaccum...

I think the problem is that far too many people just threw themselves to get to the highest level possible as fast as possible, same with so many games, then start crying about "end game content" (boo-hoo! sob-sob! SMELL THE FRIGGING ROSES ALONG THE WAY!!) ... Now they're in a position of pandering to the existing high level players but not offering enough to get new players in... I'd like to see additions and improvements that new players will notice more.

I did exactly that haha, but you wont hear me complaining. I was ready to start a new Agent and do it all over again! Now with the incursion coming out I've just been farming crafting materials, trying to get near perfect rolls on Gear/Weps

Ahhh..but did you go crying about no end-game content when you hit that cap or realise you had three more character slots and you might now enjoy looking at the scenery? :-P

No crying here. I knew with the expansion/seasonal content rotation, something was coming in April. I think i got to mid 40's in the Dark Zone and then like had to take a break (for a whole week last week) I was just getting burnt out, happens with any game I play for too long. Came back, got to 50 in the DZ, bought all the blueprints and then Update 1.1 was announced.

Edit: also made a new Agent and use her to do the Rare spawn glitch whenever my friends and I just want a change of pace

Here is where I think the problem comes in. If you have watched the developers play the game at all, they are not very good at it.

They are making decisions based on what they see when they play the game.

They under estimated everything along the way and are doing it again. They thought it would take weeks for people to finish the story. It took a few days. They are putting 100% drop rate on the named NPC's, because they think they are tough to kill, and for them, they are tough to kill.  The rest of us mop up these NPC's in no time.

When they keep talking about how tough the Incursion is gong to be, I am kind of holding my breathe on that one.

Exactly, though you raced to the top you didn't then nag Massive and Ubisoft claiming their game was rubbish.... that's cap rushing done right!

I will always take a sedate pace but respect those who prefer to run fast, die young and leave big fat corpses...

Might be a point there...I watched them and though I'm not an expert they seem to be playing as if they were an Ai ....standing and taking bullets as if they were a bullet-sponge, never bothering to dodge grenades or move cover between reloads or shots. Even I know the best way to fool the Ai is to shoot at him from one part of cover then move somewhere else and give him surprise behind lovin!!

@TheDarkZone Yes. it does seem like every time I watch a video where the developer is playing, they aren't really playing to what seems like a full potential, maybe they do this for promotional purposes (and I'm extremely sorry, right after I posted this I refreshed the forums and saw your post  :what!:  Apologies)

@quinch1199 I would never contact Ubisoft or any game company of that matter telling them their game is rubbish or has a lack of end game content, There honestly hasn't been a Tom Clancy game I haven't enjoyed (Maybe H.A.W.X) --Especially knowing how much work goes into creating open world games

ADK you're one of the good guys! I never really thought you did any of that. Unfortunately we know there are plenty out there who aren't as considerate or thoughtful as you. I've seen it in so many games, people often have no patience at all.
