Alright so forgive me for a second I'm kind of behind. Can someone fill me on on what and when the PS4 is getting some new content. Did we get anything new when everyone got 1.3 ??? I've heard were getting one new gear set and new weapons. Can someone break this down for me please

We're getting some of what we were promised.  The BLIND battle rifle has been postponed, possibly for the next patch 1.4 (based on how past heald weapons were handled) and the Front Line gear set has been postponed indefinitely because they think it will be ok for PvE and straight broken for PvP and they have no idea how or if they'll be able to balance it.

The withdrawal of the Front Line set is becoming more of a reality as they come up with great items for PvE and they can't come up with a way to reconcile it with PvP.  I've heard some podcasts suggesting to have everything even in the DZ (like Destiny Crucible) to balance the OP factors.  They could then have maybe weekends or special "arenas" that would operate with all the houses and such you get in PvE, similar to how Iron Banner works in Destiny.  I'm not positive how this would work, but it would allow them to release things without nerfing them into uselessness for PvE.

*Frontline Gear Set, not Reclaimer.
