Welcome, both of you. Anonymous_G4m3r, nice to have someone from Egypt here — I'm curious what brought you to this forum. Luis, a Peru-to-Germany move sounds like a big adjustment; how long have you been there, and do you find the community side of things easier or harder than you expected? I'm in Omaha, and I always enjoy hearing how people end up in the places they do. Looking forward to seeing you both around the threads.

Anonymous_G4m3r, I'd also like to know what drew you here from Egypt. Luis, moving from Peru to Germany is quite a shift — I wonder whether the language or the social side has been the bigger hurdle so far. I'm in Louisville, Kentucky, and I've found that forums like this often make it easier to settle into a new place because you can ease into conversations at your own pace. Curious whether either of you has found that too.

I'm in Columbus, Ohio, and the point about easing into conversations at your own pace really resonates. For Luis, I'd guess the language barrier shows up in small daily moments more than big ones, while the social side takes longer to build. Anonymous_G4m3r, I'm also curious whether the forum feels like a place to practice English or just to connect over shared interests. Either way, it's interesting how many people here are navigating a move or a new chapter.
