Assault Rifle Damage Cap

I would love to know if there is such a thing, as a assualt rifle damage cap.

My build has 51% Assualt Rifle Damage in total (Survivalist and gear), But when I look it up on the stats screen it says that i only have 31%.

Is this a display bug? Why bother putting together builds if the damage is capped? Why this, and not that?

This. (It should say 51% when you add in all together) POSTED A PHOTO OF THE SHOTGUN DAMAGE BONUS, IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN THE ASSUALT RIFLE DAMAGE BONUS, BUT YOU GET WHAT I'M SAYING.

I'm not to sure about the changes in the damage part of the assault rifle.But the only thing I heard about the assault rifle is the clips. The went from 30 rounds  clips down to 20 rounds clips. Even some have gone down to 10 or 11 rounds on certain clips.

Yeah, you only get the set bonus once, not once per piece of gear, so the 31% is correct.

some gear's mods have Assault rifle damage increased, use em, also AR CHC-CHD will make a difference. I am using Military P410 G3 is one of my best AR on the game.

I seen it on gear. But I never thought of using it. Since I use mostly SMG's instead of assault rifles more. Thanks

you can find mods for SMG as well, that can gives you SMG's CHC or CHD.

Yeah That's what use more than the gear mods is the gun & rifle mods.

Yeah, you have to manually add it up. 

They don't even list explosive damage.
