Dark Zone NPC Police?

I agree it should be done by actual players. Also, I don't feel it to be lore friendly to have NPC agents in the Dark Zone checking up on other agents. It's called Dark Zone for a reason

Terrible idea lol! Maybe an optional AI controlled co-op buddy to roll with in the Dark Zone? Just to help out supressive fire and spotting?

I rolled solo in the Dark Zone for 2/3 days during the Alpha and I got killed and stripped of my goods more than I would've liked. It was also hopeless going rogue alone too as any groups took me out quickly. Even in 2 vs 1 situations, I may have killed 1 but the other would soon take me out :(

Well, lets just see how rampant this rogue problem is going to be, who know, just may be too difficult to manage them on our own. Perhaps these NPC's can be implemented automatically if more than half of the players currently in the Dark Zone go rogue.

I think npc are good brings a little life to the game, big problem I had with destiny. If they do it right it will work out

I wonder if random spawns is going to be a thing? Rare NPCs that pop up out of nowhere or are activated by doing something somewhere else on the map. Make them harder to kill and they drop sweet, fancy loots a la World of Warcraft!

Well for now we can only speculate but I would'nt be surprised

In some of the footage that I have seen there were randoms that attacked a group, and I believe I heard in an interview that there will be randoms.

I don't like the idea of npc police. If you go rogue, you are already risking a lot. Shouldn't be another obstacle to overcome.

Yeah, I think the DZ is the DZ for a reason, so no NPC police in there unless it's a special event or something.

I think that rogue agents should not be allowed to extract anything until there timers run out. As well any agents that are taking other agents gear gets a time freeze on there countdown timers for each taken piece of gear. This forces them to be rouge longer making it harder for them to get out with another agents stuff. The penalty is easily explained as JTF choppers do not want to help traiters... Thoughts?

After playing in the dark zone honestly even if everyone was rogue, everyone shoots at eachother, the rogues don't all hang up on non rogues, they kill eachother too. So no NPC's are nessacary, except for enemy NPC's of course which in my opinion there were simply not enough off and they were not as difficult as I was hoping.

If a rogue can manage to extract anything they deserve too have it. It's damn near impossible too not get ganged up on as a rogue agent.

From what I was experiencing this is not really the case on the servers I was on there was groups of 10 rogue agents working together killing agents near extraction points. The even had two roamers that would wait to engage you until after you killed the npc mobs. Then they would call in the rest of the rogue agents or daw you to the rest of their group and then kill. Then they would push to the new extraction zone camp it until everyone has extracted the gear. So my experience is vastly different than yours. I get that this is beta, but if the DZ is like this after launch I will not be playing this portion of the game due to the stupid dark agent farming that is happening.

They're going to fix trolling I'm sure, somehow make is much harder to rush ice and a group of rogues
