They have, I have ... people have found another, shall we say, significant body and claiming that's the end of it...I'm less convinced this is over. I've only scratched the surface of it I think.

BTW - that dog, I followed it and .. poof! ... it literally disappeared before my eyes (its on the latest video too!). I later saw it spawn in a different area and head in a different direction so:

1) either its just randomly generated "background" (which would be disappointing)

2) it spawns at specific places at specific times to lead the player to a general area (which might be me giving Ubisoft too much credit)

Well holy fuck. I decided to pick up my snow boots and try again at finding more information on the Yeti. What I found was pretty fucking insightful and I'm gonna share it here with the HUD on in my screenshots so that you guys can go check it out for yourself. The LEGITIMATE Yeti Hunter. Check for yourself by looking at the locked Yeti Hunter outfit. I'm 1000% positive.

It appears he purchased the Yeti Hunter set from the store and he still died.

You can land on the ledges, and then use a drone to look for what looks like an abseiling rope.

There's more..so much more... why can't more of the game missions be these detective style ones where you HAVE to work it out yourself!?!

Haha! Actually, none of this is needed really until week 6 challenges but nice to locate everything before hand. After going through the trail, next is to find all the statues.

The complete codes give you the co-ordinates -19.7417 -66.6618 which is about 2km away from the actual Yeti Hunter sighting I posted earlier. This is where shit gets intense. Basically puts you slap bang in the middle of a river, or a creek even. Just flowing water leading through the snowy land. Tons of rocks all around going up stream. If you look to your left, there is (and it's pretty obvious once you see it, I'd suggest going in the day) a rock with bloody hand prints on it. It'll give you the option to check it, which is where shit gets really fucking intense and interesting. Upon checking it, you'll hear the roar of what sounds like a beast, or the Yeti. A spotted sound will play and then you'll be hunted, up in the mountains there will be somebody sniping. He's using a pretty fucking legit sniper since his shots will ruin you in one if they hit. I can only assume he's using a HTI.

Once you've killed the sniper, run up to where his body is - you'll see him wearing the Yeti face paint, ghillie suit and pants. He's also got heavy armor on. This is 'El Yeti', you'll have the option to check his body and once you've done so it'll unlock the Yeti pants and ghillie suit. 

I've got video footage and 2 screenshots to go with. The hunt is over, or is it? I hope not.

I was way too unprepared for that fight, though. G28 is shit for that range. Even with confirmed hits it took a solid 4-5 of them to down him.

Okay, so  I just realized there are actually unlockables for killing El Yeti.

My question is that we will have Yeti Challenge on Week 6. Will killing El Yeti now conflict the challenge later on?

Well, maybe it re-spawns. I don't think we would miss out. The clues and the bloody hand were already there, not like we used an exploit.

The community challenge and the task force challenge talk about different of modes of killing the yeti. Really not sure how you run over a yeti up there, when you're dealing with a high powered sniper riffle. The shot gun is just the difficulty of getting up there, though if the community challenge sets it as 8 then could be very open or a 1km hike around the other side of the hill

He'll one shot the fuck out of you at 400-500m. Getting close range to kill him with a shotgun will be tough. I'm not even sure how you'd run him over either lol.

Yeah, I think it is a HT1 he hits you with, so...

Going straight up the hill isn't going to happen. Not sure being patient and working up the river bank and then across the ridge. If he has a HT1 then copter or vehicle is going to end in tears too. Tho since the community is set at 8, I'm guess the cover is still crap.
