You'll live a multi-shotty build.  Get the double barrel sidearm to round out the set.

@Jaypeg enjoy the AB set while it's still OP.  There's a nerf inbound with 1.6 so it's gonna take a hit.  

As for TA, when I got rid of my tri-shotty build, I switched my toon over to a TA build.  She runs fire turret and booster shot (with a vigorous chest) and it's tons of fun.

Actually its not THAT bad... after playing last night there's certainly a hit but its not killing AB. Basically I went into the PTS with normal AB build but used twin SMG's for a change...wasnt too bad at all. Video coming.

To be honest bud I'm not too fussed about AB, enjoyed it for a bit of PVP and I was just having a bit of a play around and enjoying the talents(I was focused more on skill power talents/cooldown). Needed a break from striker which I still think from a PVE perspective does more damage then AB.I'm enjoying my TA build , getting used to that drop in toughness and especially my dps, none of my gear has EAD yet so need to keep on grinding. But the cool down and constant flow of seeker mines is a lot of fun. Changed from using an AR and shotty to an LMG and SMG.

Not sure.  I thought when they redid loot with 1.4/1.5 that they changed HVT to have more randomized loot.  I'd say give them a quick go and check.  Most HVTs can be finished really quickly.

Yeah, I read a little more on it and you get the 3rd talent on the unused weapon (giving you 4 talents) but you don't have to have the stats to unlock the talent on the other weapon, so that's kind of interesting.

When I need some health I mix up my gear a little and swap the specialized pack for a relentless pack and then get the healing from the turret damage.
