Not sure why you didn't see it:

I didn't create the map, just found it on Twitter.  I was a little surprised that there wasn't more interest in the thread on here, but I guess I might have posted it in a wierd spot or something, however it should have shown up if you checked the "unread content".

Yea I agree, the loot spawn should be random. I watch twitch people who cruise through Survival because they know how the loot spawns and where to go right away. Stupid really

It's not really difficult to begin memorizing the locations.  It really helps to run the LZ and start getting really familiar with the LZ map so you're ready for Survival.  Most people play the DZ enough and can navigate it fairly easily, so you really don't have to learn as much there.

Since you probably won't see as many people in the DZ, memorize a handful of scatters Div tech locations so you can build the final gear you need and if you come in from the LZ with a good chunk of mats you should be fine.

As for rotating locations on gear, I thought I remember hearing or reading that it's rather difficult to set that up.  However, they got it to work with rotating HVT locations and season pass supply drop locations, so they might be able to adapt those algorithms to Survival drops.

I can agree, that it is more than likely that loot spawning randomization would probably be hard to do, you have to pick locations that will and won't get it and then randomizig from that spot would be a whole world of net code that may be near impossible to put in this build.

But like I said, if you know how to navigate through the world, you will be more successful than any one else, and it is a matter of experience really.

on a side note I saw someone was going to do survival carries and thought this was very interesting and wondering if I should get into this business. lol

Is there really a need for this? Is there that many who haven't extracted in survival? Curious really

I've attempted probably about 30 runs, with only about 6-8 being solo runs.  The group runs were groups of 3 or 4 and were a TERRIBLE idea for players that didn't have the mechanics down.

After a bunch of failed runs I moved to solo PvE runs to try and get the mechanics down.  The best I've done is I had my Hunter down to about 1/3 health and about 30 sec on my extraction timer when I stuck my head out at a wierd angle to lob a nade, got downed, and was too close to revive before my Hunter closed and axed me to death.

I've had 2 runs since then where I was doing pretty good and had cleaned up a couple downed agents but ended up getting greedy and was killed trying to take a landmark (in both cases).

Due to a handful of things, it's been probably 2-3 weeks since I've tried a Survival run.  I have a game plan for how to get an extraction, I'm just working on getting a rhythm going and working out the kinks.

TL:DR - myself and the guys I run with haven't extracted, to my knowledge, but we haven't tried enough.  I'm not sure how many other players haven't, so it might be a worthwhile endeavor.
