I've grown to really like ARs and have a build that is specifically for them. I'm still at work so yet to find out how badly my G36 has been nerfed but am thinking I might need to grab a new AR - any suggestions?

Alternative ARs to the G36?

I've dabbled with them quite a bit, as has @DeadSockPuppet. If my G36 is nerfed as badly as I suspect I'll revert to my ACR or possibly an LVOA-C. The stability is better on the former, but the damage is higher on the latter.
Many people rave about the black market AK, but I'm yet to see it. My other backup is an M4 with a good roll and 11k base damage.

I alternate between a 204 LVOA-C with swift/deadly/fierce and about 137k DPS and a 204 tactical MK16 with vicious/brutal/destructive and about 157k DPS. I'd love to get them to 229s, as that would probably add a good chunk to their DMG and DPS.
Back when I was running 182 weapons I ran a lightweight M4 for a long time and really liked it. Then I got my BMAK and that became the gun of choice. However, I still prefer the LVOA-C and MK16, LVOA-C because it throws a lot of rounds pretty quickly and the MK16 because it's steady and hits hard.

As it turns out, my G36 has not been nerfed THAT badly. I'm still rocking close to 300k with it so I can't complain!

Mine wasn't too bad, but ive yet to compare it to the brutal/deadly/destructive BM AK I picked up in the DZ.

LVOA-C or ACR wins here in my opinion. Obviously the G36 is still right at the top.

I've noticed it a little but nothing major. Adding stability onto your mods helps hugely.

Really though, it's nice to see that someone didn't get completely screwed. Little jealous of the DPS, I'm running a more tanky build so I'm 421k toughness but only 157k DPS. Still updating my build to try for 2 more AB pieces, so we'll see where I end up.
After 1.3 patch DPS means nothing(it doesn't factor in so many bonuses u may have on your build). Remember, DPS was heavily favored before we got all these set gear pieces. In the beginning we had gear with just talents so DPS was more important .
The Firearms count is what I focus on now. I would never sacrifice that toughness for DPS, never. If you are constantly going down, then you are not dealing DPS.

Between the -15% nerf and the latest +20% buff, my G36 has a base dmg of 106k.
But the buff was only vs player. Not sure why it's up
