Need help getting through that tough fight in the Division? OP powerhouse that likes to help others? Join up in the first community wide Sherpa Weekend. At the highest level, here’s how the weekend is going to work.
- All communications, LFG, and sherpa dispatch will be handled through the DZR Discord. If you’re unfamiliar with Discord, it’s a group chat app that allows for a ton of concurrent users at a time. Detailed instructions for sign up will be sent to you after registering. Don’t let this scare you off, it’s fairly simple
- When the event is open, participants will post what they’re looking to do in special, platform-specific dispatch rooms. Sherpas and other group members will then jump into the rooms to pick up players and go complete the activities.
- Participants are encouraged to share their experiences on twitter by tweeting DZR@DarkZoneReport or by using the #DZRSherpaWeekend.
- If you’re a streamer and would like to be a part of DZR’s 48 hour Sherpa Weekend Stream, indicate this in your registration and we will contact you with streaming details.
Ground Rules:
- Follow the DBAD code (i.e. Don’t Be A Douche). We want the weekend to be a positive experience for everyone, so be chill.
- If you’re looking to do HVTs, please bring your own intel. It’s not a reasonable expectation to expect your Sherpa to pay your way. They’re your Sherpa, not your benefactor.
- Don’t expect to monopolize your Sherpa’s time. Have them help you with what you’re struggling with, then make room for other players. Also, feel free to use the normal DZR LFG rooms to keep grouping up and playing.
- Have fun and share your experiences.
