So with the Wildlands coming out next year, to me it seems that Ubisoft is starting to head more towards a Bethesda-like feel. With that being said, does anyone know if there will be DLCs for TCTD that are located in other cities? The opening story shows the Golden Gate Bridge.

I for one would like to roam new cities. L.A., Miami, Seattle, maybe even other countries. Sydney, Tokyo, London, Moscow...

Just think it'd be an interesting idea. Anyone know of something like this in the future?

i'd love this, no idea if they'll do it but ...

I DON'T WANT A "THE DIVISION 2"!

I want massive DLC...expand what you have, don't start again.

That's a big downer that a lot of companies do. They come out with a new game instead of expanding.

Sure, you can import your character, but you still have to start fresh. Lame.

Completely, to me its the easy option as well. Why not charge $40 for the Expansion plus the $30 for the annual pass?? I think they'd make more money as they get more people investing in what they see as a long term investment....like World of Warcraft and its expansions.

Or even charge the full $60 for the expansion...as long as you're getting effectively a full game out of it plus new players get the old game included.  Established accounts get two more character slots as well plus the new expansion adds more creation options ... I think established players would be happy.

There was an early interview in which they *hinted* there would be other cities. Though, they could have easily changed their minds since then. *Supposedly* there was meant to have been a survey asking whether players would like a city or period expansion.

I thought about this and looked in some detail. Its actually surprisingly difficult to find another major, modern city that's as centralised with an area that's isolated naturally like NYC's Manhattan Island.

Negating the artificial barriers in place in Manhattan for example, if the game was expanded to encompass all of it, you'd still have a natural and logical barrier to limit gameplay area...as its an island. Tokyo or Hong Kong perhaps?

I considered San Francisco but in the end I don't think the hilly topography would be ideal for the game and the game environment would be more urban suburbia than inner city.

London...perhaps...but maybe only The City of London rather than Greater London.

Yeah, that's what people had thought.

(Haven't seen the survey tho)
My response would equate to urging someone to leave the place they're currently residing and make great efforts to multiply their gene pool before perishing suddenly.
