Dwarven Lord Under The Mountain
Realise I never formally introduced myself, merely exploded onto the forums much like a chest-burster from Alien only slightly less pleasant.
Anyway, keeping it brief, I'm The Quinch ... I've been gaming since I got my Atari 2600 (damn I was good at Snoopy and the Red Baron!). More seriously gaming in MMO titles about 8 years or so ago, started out with World of Warcraft (which I don't play anymore), moved on to F2P titles once funds got low with my family growing so found myself playing World of Tanks, War Thunder, Armored Warfare, World of Warships. Also dabble in Minecraft, Red Orchestra 2 (clan has their own server) and a myriad of other titles. Completely absorbed the Total War franchise since the original Shogun (I've had all the titles, still waiting to buy Warhammer!) ... loved the occasional RTS like CoHo etc but was never very good at PvP.
Through my years I've been Alpha and Beta tester, player council representative (War Thunder) and various other links through developers at various stages as well as building my own PC's when I need to upgrade.
Before all this gaming I spent a "lovely" 5 years under the employ of Her Majesties Armed Forces (Infantry) with some "delightful" stays in various places where shooting occurred.
I have two wonderful children (8 & 13), long term partner and finally my dream job (Quantity Surveyor) at the ripe age of 46. So after a very many years of trials, tribulations, sadness and troubles I'm enjoying life and THE DIVISION is my very first AAA title!!
I'm loving the mix of action, third person perspective and RPG elements in the game and I love releasing my inner Geek and my ill-spent D&D days through it.
