Your on a patrol, clearing a building. You notice that the doors to the apartments have been written upon by previous a previous team. What does it mean?

Its called the INSARAG marking system. Its use in urban search and rescue and disaster situations and is a quick way of relaying information to search and rescue teams about a building its potential hazards, when it was searched, what was inside, if anyone was rescued or if there were any fatalities inside which will ultimately need recovering.

Heres a link to further info

So when your on your patrols you'll be better able to understand what happened to some of the occupants of those buildings and what the search and rescue teams had to deal with.

Small detail I like is that all these signs have to be written in dayglo orange. Which is the colour theme that runs through the Division. Again the developers attention to detail amazes me!

Judging by the number of rat sounds I hear, when running around the streets, I'd hazard a guess to say that all the doors should be marked with RATS..

On a plus note, it's a good way to make people jumpy at 3am when they are playing and hear the rat noises. :)

@RogDodge Them pesky rats, all that scurrying. running around in their little gangs.

I hear that  the division is recruiting some guy from Hamlin to help sort the problem. Apparently he's great at eradicating rat infestations  !
