I lost interest in the division after it was so broken at the end of 1.2. With all the changes I'm looking to jump back in. Curious about what weapon archetypes, perks, armor, and armor sets are the O.P. Business these days??

Welcome back to the game. With 1.6.1 and loadouts, build diversity is the greatest it's ever been. Because of that, there isn't really a meta, per se, rather a bunch of options that can be used in many different situations.
I don't know if you listen to podcasts, but we have a podcast that will be recording an episode Saturday night about different kinds of builds and what they're good for. The episode will be available for listening and viewing on Tuesday (may be delayed to Wednesday because of the holiday).
