The other issue I had was shooting at someone behind cover. I usually aimed at the cover so the natural recoil of the gun would get a hs (if it landed).  Ive yet to craft a LVOA-C, been using the OP G36 too much.

Yeah, if I burst fired it almost always ended on headshots and crits, but I just couldn't open it up on someone from range like I can with my LVOA-C.  And if I need to finish someone up close like you mentioned, my Super 90 or MP5 ST are much better I CQB.

Ah, the G36, the new meta.  I'll try to get one once PS4 gets 1.3 and the DLC and will see what I think.  I just don't tend to be fans of the meta weaps - didn't like the Vector and never got a 182 or 204 AUG (MP5 ST all the way).

The G36 will be patched by then. They acknowledge that the base dmg that it drops with is more then what was intended.

I've heard that too.  I guess it depends on how much they nerf it and what kinds of mods and gear you can use your try I correct for the nerf.  You could run 3x PM for +800 AR DMG and recalibrate some of your gear to add AR DMG, if you really like the gun.  Figure maybe 2-3 pieces with +600 AR DMG/piece to go with your PM and that's like +2k-2.6k AR DMG which might cover the nerf.  

IMO, that would be a waste of gear and the recalibration option on the gear, but I don't know how OP the gun is so some might do it.

Picked up a 204 LVOA-C with swift/meticulous/fierce from a drop.  I wish I could recalibrate the meticulous to most anything else, but that doesn't sound like it will be possible since the talent recalibration should only be on weapons going forward.  

Also, I think SotG mentioned that the LMG out of cover bonus will eventually be added to PvP, they're just working out some issues.  No ETA on when that might release, though. 

I think recalibration will work for all weapons, pre and post 1.3.  My Pre 1.3 weapons are listed on the recal screen but I am not 100% if I have actually tried to change one and am not at home to check but I would be surprised if they couldn't.

Yes you can. I've tried it and works for old weapons

After the patch dropped, I had seen that would be the case, so I'm looking forward to getting rid of that meticulous.  Not sure exactly what I'd want to try and switch to, but I'll definitely take a roll or two.

That's interesting and sucks.  It can't always be the 1st one because people are taking about recalibrating the talent with no stat requirements, which I thought was always the 3rd talent.

You can recalibrate weapons pre 1.3. My aug was deadly, brutal and adept before 1.3. I rolled adept into responsive.

The G36 base dmg ( i know its different per player based on firearms) has drops anywhere from 11k-15k.  Granted these are just the number ive personally seen and could be higher or lower.
