1. How do to a disk check:

3. How to bring up event log:

• Windows 7 - Start>type 'eventvwr'
  
• Windows 8/8.1 - Down arrow, Event Viewer. (Control Panel, Admin Tools)
  
• Windows 10 - Start (Right click)>Event Viewer
