RimBlock
Underground, overground, wombling free
Idea for Radar type skills / talents depending on faction.
Radar has two properties
[*]The Brotherhood can pulse scan to medium range and identify at that range but each 'blip' takes 1/4 sec due to uplink to their central DB.
[*]Outcasts can use a pheromone bomb to confuse the wolf pack or a scrambler to block the Brotherhood scans.
[*]Freelancers can use Brotherhood scanners of lower level without uplink of friend or foe id but can 'tag' others and their scanner is always on.
Range is based on an initial base range plus bonuses for player level, equipment.
Outcast blocking special ability is time and success percentage based on level and equipment.
What do people think ?.
Radar has two properties
- Detection: A blip appears
- Identification: The blip is coloured depending on contact allegiance (faction).
- Wolf Pack can sense others at long range and can identify friend from foe at close range.
Activation: Always on.
- Detect: Long range.
- Identify: Close range.
[*]The Brotherhood can pulse scan to medium range and identify at that range but each 'blip' takes 1/4 sec due to uplink to their central DB.
Activation: On demand (pulse).
- Detect: Medium range.
- Identify: Medium range (one contact at a time until all identified).
[*]Outcasts can use a pheromone bomb to confuse the wolf pack or a scrambler to block the Brotherhood scans.
Activation: On demand (pulse).
- Detect: Short range.
- Identify: None but can detect pulses at medium range.
- Special: Outcasts can get access to pheromone blockers and scramblers to confuse other factions results.
[*]Freelancers can use Brotherhood scanners of lower level without uplink of friend or foe id but can 'tag' others and their scanner is always on.
Activation: On demand (pulse).
- Detect: Medium range.
- Identify: None but can tag if visible.
