Maybe hinting at year two content access?
That is what I thought :10_wink: .  Still no Intrepid yet though...

Which stage are you stuck in on the incursion ?.  You have 3 stages I think you can run in any order (floor shocks, no cover, western).  After clearing those you get the mini-gun level ?.

Oh, I posted my feedback on the PTS at the UBISoft forums and got an instant reply of "Oh you so noob'.  Then the next 15 posts are this person and someone else going back and forth with nothing to do with the thread.  Enjoy the show if you are bored here.  The person has been added to my ban list after I replied so I no longer see their posts if anyone wonders why I don't respond to them  :12_slight_smile: .  So nice to be able to come here  :91_thumbsup: .

Floor shock/save the hanging hostage. I believe we're getting to the last or penultimate machine gunner....the floor shocks start happening pretty much constantly one after another and we just don't have enough stations to put down and can't take the gunner down fast enough. Hostage dies.

No cover is fine, you can cheese it with multiple res/support stations if you have to. Full studio with the bomb has so much cover that its stupidly easy.

Official forums with minimal moderation are so toxic

@RimBlock have you worked out how to get the premium credits yet? When I tried the shop options were closed but I saw players in the premium vanity items last night.

I suspect they are only available in Last Stand.  I have not played it yet so haven't been able to prove it though.

I just finished Warrengate on legendary with a 3 person group.  It wasn't that hard.  The entry courtyard was a bit tricky with an number of shield guys and snipers.  We then lost a player and they just quit the mission so continued with two and match making pulled in two others a bit further along but they were at the start of the mission.  We were in the control room only 2 or a 4 man squad and did the first wave that comes to reinforce but the other guy chased the last machine gunner in to a corner and died....  I worked my way round but had to kill the gunner before I could revive him and then the second reinforcement wave were on us and we pretty much got wiped out.  I back peddled a couple of rooms and met the 3rd guy but with 4 enemies after us we both went down and the last guy managed to save us all using his shield and taking his time.  We then finished it and it was not that hard to kill the last bosses.  I would say the Napalm Production facility was the hardest and longest.  Warrengate is not much longer than usual.

What gear are you using now ?.  Has the Alphabridge nerf really affected you ?.  I even used the Historian in Warrengate.   Didn't think I would find a use for it but it is fairly rapid and with the 2sec explosion and my 145k skill power (so an extra 29k per bullet) it is pretty effective.

Now they have taken the armour away, that means the gear mods also have had the armour bonuses stripped from them and converted to health.

just ... wow .... in all my years I've rarely seen someone with absolutely NO concept of "because its not happened to you, doesn't mean it doesn't happen elsewhere".
Strange thing is they are saying that if you get stuck outside, let the team die and restart so you ca get back in the room for that incursion mission.  They completely miss the point that you should not be able to get stuck outside in the first place :48_weary: .  Better not to engage with those sort of people.  They never seem to see the point what with their head being too firmly wedged up their own arse.  Everything just looks brown to them  :51_scream: .

Don't worry, the guy admitted that all he wants to do is troll the developers as he thinks they're "lazy".

Anyway this is not a suggested strategy, but for what it is worth.

Lost Signal is so ANNOYING!! I just can't clear that last room....at the closing stages the shocks go off so rapidly and for so long plus getting bombed means the Immuniser station gets killed.

Can't help thinking I need another tactic.
Just keep everything off the floor. If you got a ballistic shield you can even stand on a desk. no shocky  :10_wink:

Toughest by far is the News studio as there's just nothing to hide behind!
There's a desk to the left (when facing the stage). Get behind the desk-end. You'll have cover from the snipers and a good vantage over the mobs as they drop over. You will get the heavy and mods coming in through the back right door, which is right behind you, but I actually find they rarely stop for you but move towards the main area (maybe I was lucky). It is the best spot, your team mates may still die but still....

I think with these you need a reclaimer, a shield, and a sniper. You need to take out the bosses, and they are always inaccessible, so a good sniper speeds things up.

How? I guess by the Ballistic Shield you mean you can glitch up onto a desk...but what if you dont? I haven't found anywhere to climb anything to get off the floor as yet.

I've actually trolled through this...group had three support Res stations...we just kept putting them down and soaking damage pretty much endlessly. Bit of a cheesy way though.

Found decent cover, actually to the left and right of the main stage, next to where the snipers are...they can't shoot you and you can hit and take down most enemies before they aggro you.

That said, this stage is "hard" but not up to "Challenging".

I'm not sure the overall design of the Incursion is well made. Sure its fun but as the stages are just three enclosed spaces it seems a little...underwhelming...You're not moving to anywhere to do anything, you enter a room, fight it out from pretty much one spot and that's it.

All too much like early Falcon Lost to me and I'm ultimately not happy with the design as a whole. They "should" have made it maybe two such room segments followed by a flowing - always moving forward towards your goal - section where you move to the roof or something.

That said, I've not completed so is that the last bit maybe?

They are adjusting the support stations as they have seen the see the ease on the PTS.  Seems they are changing the skill cooldown as well.  More skill power then slower cooldown.  Not sure i like that one :-).

No date on the next PTS build yet though.

I would predict it will change over either tomorrow of Monday (Monday more likely).

I don't like that heavy handed adjustment...why have a high skill score if cooldown is going to be slow anyway. There's a reason I focus more on electronics than I ought too...just because their level design is ill-conceived doesn't mean its the fault of established game mechanics.

@quinch1199 let us know how you find the boss of the final section with the minigun.  :1_grinning: .
Can't seem me attempting the Incursion again at least until the next build. Is it more the open, needing constant movement, section I was hoping for?

*UPDATE - having seen that section of it I can see its slightly better design. Perhaps they should have focused on spreading that style over more of the rooms.

Yeah that was my thought.  People spec to get high skill and then get punished with slower cooldowns.  Maybe I misheard or they explained it badly.  I did replay that part of State of the Game a couple of times though.

Also, armour damage will become a major stat rather than a secondary stat.  Running strikers I have 60% armour mitigation but they were unclear if the mitigation already on piece you own gets moved to the major or if both major and minor just get re-rolled.  If the second, that will suck big time.

They've said that Armour is being downgraded anyway so Toughness is perhaps the stat to invest in with 1.6

Armour damage in PvE is still very relevant, to the point that they are degrading bonus Elite Damage to minor and upgrading Extra Armour Damage to a major stat.

Seeker may be an interesting set with Marksman rifles or the MDR.

PTS is down for weekly maintenance for 3 hours...  Live system is not really fun for me any more so played for 30 mins and just logged off.

Guess I will try the PTS tomorrow.

PTS has refreshed.

Terminal Vendor has Exotic caches for FREEEEEEEE.......

Recalibration is also free.

Update:  Interesting.  All FAMAS become exotic called Bullfrog.

Elect shock room seems significantly harder.  Immuniser station works fine but needs coordination in the team.  I tried with randoms around 6 times and have not completed it.

Vanity items are free at the vendor.

Vanity item credits can get gathered in Last Stand.  I had a run and it was pretty intense with 8 vs 8 vs AI (low level) but we got hit with a Delta error before the end and we had no team coordination.
