So I'm in the middle of learning how to endgame in the Division and I'm trying to have an objective so I feel more productive in my farming. Right now my plan is to go 4 striker and 2 HE. I want to have 4 major firearms rolls, 1 major stamina roll, and a holster. Basically my process right now is farming gear and comparing the gear to a max armor and stats figure that I found online , and dumping gear that isn't as high armor/firearms/stamina as the gear I have. If I find something with higher firearms/stamina/armor I lock that piece of gear and move on...I'm in the middle of this process and my plan is to once I get 4 pieces of striker and a considerable amount more of gear, I'm going to mix and match them until I get 4 firearms and 1 stamina along with the striker set.

One problem I'm running in to is finding gear with high firearms/stamina amounts. The max I have is a stamina chest and it gives +1240 stamina...I've watched videos where every piece of gear that some people have gives like +1250 or more. One guy had a holster that gave +1250 for each stat! My question is, how long does it take to find stuff like this? I currently have 2 pieces of striker, but I'm pretty sure those pieces don't give more than +1200 any stats. It takes long enough to find specifically striker set pieces nevermind striker set pieces that have high armor and high stats! How long does this process take? I see people with like 3 or 4 different builds to choose from and I can't even get one..

One other question - What is the best way to farm? I'm currently getting all the collectibles and opening the loot caches, doing dailies/weekly, and playing Last Stand here and there. I've heard Clear Sky & Lexington Event Center are great loot farms as well.

Similar approach. I think in terms of only need to re-roll one thing. So i look at armour/health/stats plus ead. I can reroll the stat or health and just factor in the armour and ead to try and improve.Though not health on gloves or masks. Though with the holster i want all high stats.

The two builds I found quite solid is firecrest or Predator's mark. Though Strikers is meant be good in 1.6. Also, i have he kneepads with an xp bonus to increase my prof caches.

Not sure what's best for farming in 1.6.

Generally i favour firearms/health mods. And I'm finding self heal perf mods are a good choice.

@Oh. daesu has some good points and suggestions.   Really you need to look for a build that works for your play style and not necessarily a "best build".

The activities that you're sound are good for farming.  Since you can get most kinds of loot from pretty much any activity, run what you like doing.  It can take a while to get all the right pieces for any one build, but you can recalibrate stats on the pieces you have to get closer to the stats you want or to get the major/minor stats that you want.

If a piece does not have at least 1200 on a stat and only one other item I want to fix then I trash it unless I am gunning for a set I do not have 4 pieces for.

1200 as a stat is ok and then you can re-roll one other minor or major on the piece.

Beware of low Skill power (you can bump it up with mods not just stats) as your healing skill will not be able to keep you topped up if it is low.

Lexington has a fast run through but get the loot as soon as it drops as some Team Leaders reset as soon as it is done kicking you back to the starting point so it can be cycled as many times as possible in the shortest amount of time.

Clear sky can be pretty fast with a strong group.

The Legendary missions give good loot but are not particularly fast. Warrengate is probably the fastest (although I have not timed it), just watch out for the end bosses flanking from two sides at once.  Lincoln Tunnel can also be ok for a change.  Doing the open world bosses can also be good if you know where they are located.  There are maps out there and they are really pretty easy when you are at a comfortable level for challenging mode missions.

I have not done PVT for quite a while but they may also be pretty good as the high end weeklies.
