Map size comparison

Looks good! I've never had an issue with the map size. I know Ubi kind of overstated the map size early on or at least led us to believe that the launch map was going to be bigger than it is. I have the season pass as I have fed the post release DLC dragon.

It's at a reasonable size, if it had been much bigger (like GTA V) the map would not be so fun to explore. The world would propably be more dead than it already is from the virus xD, since they can't make an entire living world in 1:1 scale to Manhattan without delaying the game even more, at least if we want a world worth exploring.

The map size could have been much bigger but I only say that because I am from downtown Manhattan and I wanted to see how my neighborhood would look in the game besides that the map size seems decent compared to other games but I hope that it expands with each dlc whether it is free or season pass dlc. I'm hype can't wait please allow me to go to the lower east side of Manhattan. Cherry street, Delancey street, Chinatown, South street seaport, the Williamsburg Bridge, also Wall street, the World Trade Center and the World Financial Center. Many land marks downtown I hope we all get to go there.

I'd say I'm fine with the map size myself. Taking into account verticality (Below/Above) and enterable structures I feel the map will be more than enough for me to explore a long while. And on top of all that, from a few videos the map seems like it's going to be pretty dense with things to do.

Yeah the map size is going to be pretty healthy and then there's MASSIVE potential for some sweet DLC.

It must be great to actually live in Manhattan and be a fan of this game. "Look there's me apartment/house!" :D

It's nice that Marco did that to show how it is, but I'm certain most people who were against The Division will stick to their arguments as much as possible. It has always been like this and might stay that way. People who appreciated the beta will do so in the future aswell, when the real content comes!

Heck, the BETA felt pretty big to me.  Walking everywhere makes it feel like NYC.  Then the insides of all the buildings and underground subways.  Jeez.  Its basically like 3 times the size.

Right? I had the same feeling. The worst argument I heard was "if you run through the whole map you need.." WHY WOULD YOU? It's an amazing map! I didn't run through WoW aswell when I played it, I enjoyed stuff! First thing I did after saving the Base Of Operations was to find the button that makes me walk instead of running.
