Lagging terribly while in groups

I have a high speed (100mbps) down internet connection, wired straight into the modem. My internet is absolutely fine, downloading, playing literally any other online game, and division even works fine solo. But the second i join the group i start getting 3-4 second lag spikes every 10 seconds or so, it's literally unplayable. I've tried restarting the game, cycling the modem, restarting computer. I have no idea what to do . Any one else having these problems?

I'm having this same problem. It's entirely unplayable with this much "lag." It's as if my internet connection goes from 300mbps to .3, and Skype goes to shit quality while I'm playing in a predetermined group. I really would like to play this game but if I can't group, there is no point.
