So far I really like the game and i believe the people behind the game truly want to create an amazing experience. With time and feedback, they will dial in the details to create a well balanced game.

My biggest gripe is the drop rate and dropped items in the DZ, Supply drops, and DZ chests. SO MANY high ends are dropped they are no longer high ends. Also the loot table seems to be the same across the board as far as the named so there is no real reason for anyone to really venture into DZ 5/6 when you get the same loot around 1/2/3. I believe the table should be spread out immensely. Animal should drop LMG's, Sniper boss drops Marksman etc, but the level of the weapon depends on the zone in which they spawn as well. DZ1 is an easier version while DZ6 is a more difficult version of the same boss (if they're going to have it where the boss is a random spawn) It will spread people through out the map more. Tone down the high end drops, with a small chance of teal to drop. like 2% chance and HE at 20%. Let the bosses drop more specific items rather than everyone on the same loot table. Put the DZ chests on a different loot table. May mods and or "bundles" of materials/tools/parts.

As for the supply drops, I think there should be less drops in the same instance that need to be extracted with a higher teal drop rate. Say 3 supply drops spread out throughout the map, all at the same time. The package has a guaranteed HE, and 20% chance for teal, that has to be extracted. The reason it has to be extracted is that the sole purpose of the DZ is PVP. It will create PVP as well as group coordination. There is to much "Dont shoot me" crap going on in the DZ. if you dont like it, go back to the PVE world.  I personally am not great at PVP, but there is only one way I will get better.

I like the high materials for crafting. Crafting should not be the resource for players to out fit them selves. It should be the source to fill the void. You cant get the HE chest to drop, or any for the matter, so you craft a chest piece. And it should not be of quality that drops from the named bosses in DZ it should be slightly less of that. For the person that does not have that time, they have the option to craft a similar item that of the drops from DZ6, but the resources required is MUCH more. Make them work for it.

The toughest encounters should be the most rewarding, not the person that ran around all day collecting materials and made their chest. There's no reason to venture into dangerous areas or group up with skilled people in the matter.

A month in and it seems like EVERYONE is in all HE gear at minimum.

/end rant

A couple things I would like to see implemented in the game..

When shouldering a weapon and you switch shoulders, you drop the gun down and re-should, the weapon should re-shoulder to the last used shoulder. I.e. Left to Left or Right to right. Not Left to right.

Clans (divisions)...obviously

Player to player trading, more so than in the current state of the game.

Crouching and or Prone position.

Player inspecting (viewing gear and stats with mods, levels, etc)

There are a few other things but its not really coming to mind atm. I really look forward to seeing the direction the game goes either way.

well...

High end isn't endgame, it's just high end, a name.

Drops being definite would decrease gearing time DRASTICALLY  (faster burn-out on the game, no reason to play more than 2-3 days per update), same for having more teal drops. Avoiding endgame content to get endgame gear shouldn't be easy, it should be maddeningly time consuming..and it is. Perfect.

Again, more teal drops outside of endgame is a bad idea. Grind for days/weeks, or just run endgame content. We have group finders and clans here if you need a more stable/reliable squad...it's where I found my squadmates, and they're beast.

I was full HE in week one...and I wasn't rushing anything. It's even easier now, but again, HE isn't endgame, it's middle.

Love the shoulder bit, definitely behind you on that one.

While I no longer need to find an in-game clan, it would be nice to have ours registered in game as well to show off...behind you on this as well.

Trading is a slippery slope. If I could trade anything to anyone, I could gear out dozens of players right now to endgame builds. Do you really want MORE players running around that can destroy you? Running with a squad through the higher content allows a better chance for everyone to get/share gear, helping everyone you depend on faster...that seems sufficient.

GOD YES! LET ME CROUCH AND LAY DOWN!!!!

Inspecting: as long as it comes with the option to make your build private, sure. I wouldn't mind some people inspecting me, but I wouldn't want anyone to be able to do it.

Liking your ideas for the most part man, maybe throw a few on the Ubisoft official forums and see what sticks. :5_smiley:

I think you mistook what I was saying for drop rates. I'm actually wanting drops rates to be nerfed pretty hard across the board. As it sits, all bosses and supply crates from experience  are a guaranteed 1 HE item if not two, with about a 5% chance on supply drops to get teal. I'm saying all bosses should drop superior with only a 20% for HE and 2% for teal. I'm also saying the DZ 5/6 bosses should drop more quality 190/200 gear and the DZ 1/2 drop 160/170 gear for example.

As for the supply crates, with only three crates dropping at a time, having a better drop rate than that of the bosses and having to extract it rather than going to straight into inventory. When an entire DZ is going rogue over having to extract it all. Dropping the drop rate everywhere and increasing it on the supply drops would create the environment they were reaching for. ( I believe)

Also adding in when you spawn into an environment, you are not touchable by NPC or PC until you have made a body movement.  It was like this in everquest. Atleast gave you a moment to load into your environment.

In my experience, over 70 or so supply drops, not one has given me anything but purples, from DZ01 to DZ06. Named elites on the other hand ARE a guaranteed HE drop, but it's only a 163/tier one 95% of the time. The higher DZ bosses having a very slightly increased chance to drop a 182/204 I'd get behind, but they're not hard to acquire now either. No teal increases though, named elites dropping 191 ultra rarely seems perfect to me. End game gear should come from end game content, and the DZ isn't end game.

PLEASE don't get the HE drops nerfed on named elites though...we NEED those mats from breaking them down at end game, especially with the crafting changes. Dropping crap HEs 99% of the time is a good thing for us.

A supply crate drops in each zone (as far as I've seen). With a named elite guarding them, that's three chances for a decent drop... one from the named, and two from the crate. Also seems good enough to me, but to each their own.

Love that last bit...where do I sign? lol
