So I am a level 25 and my buddy is an 18 and we wanted to run dark zone together but when we try to go it takes me into a level 25 zone and he goes to the lower levels. If anyone's having this problem and have a solution let me know. By the way I tried the solution where you go to group management and join their darkzone but it wouldn't let me do it. Thanks.

How to play in the DZ with a lower ranked friend????

This zoning was done intentionally by the devs. The DZ servers are split based on certain levels. Did you by any chance notice any level 1 - 14 players in your DZ? No you didn't as this would give you far to great of an advantage should you choose to go rogue. It will be a massacre. So unfortunately your buddy would need to rank up as well to be able to join you in the DZ.

Yeah there are level brackets in the DZ 1-14 then 15-18 I think and more u have to be in the same level bracket to play together. When u go to the map and hover over the DZ it says in the top right-hand enemy's level bracket in the DZ and the players bracket level

Once in the dz have the lower level player go into group management and select the higher level player and to the right there is an option to join the higher lvls DZ instance.
