Holiday help needed

So, my wife and I are looking for a certain toy for our daughter for either her December birthday or Christmas.  I figured that many of us are parents and might need help finding the one unicorn out kid is really pining for.  So, thought I'd try to bring the community to bear and see if we might be able to help each other.

The way I'd suggest this is for it to be kind of like a reverse Craig's List.  A member would post what country they're in, the item, a link to the company's website, and how much they'd be willing to pay (currency, range & whether that includes shipping or not).

Ex:

Country: United States

Item: FurReal Friends Torch

Website: http://www.hasbro.com/en-us/brands/furrealfriends

Currency: US $

Price: $100-120

Shipping: included in price

Notes: if any

The idea would be to help people out and not make money, so if you can buy the above item for $90 and shipping is $10, don't ask the poster for $120 because they'd be willing to pay that.

I don't know if this will get legs, nor do I know if the rest of the mods will let this post stay, but I figured I'd give it a try.  And if it does take off, it could be used year-round for other events (birthdays, graduations, etc.).

That's it, simple idea I'd like to try out.  I figured with is pooling resources from multiple countries we might be able to help each other out.

Well we managed to manipulate our kids a little. A month ago I installed SSX (2012) on the Xbox One and it brought back memories our two kids (aged 13 & 9) of playing SSX Tricky WAYYYYYY BACK on the PS2.

(As Wiccans we celebrate the Solstice so presents exchanged on 21st)

That was the plan. Imagine the joy they had when they opened presents to find a PS2 plus all the SSX games, memory card, two controllers.

Retro gaming win! Plus bank balance win… though difficult to track down for less than £50 for all of it they’ll get so much enjoyment from it. I tell you SSX Tricky still holds up!

Next up for birthdays… the original Guitar Hero and a Nintendo Wii I think.

I had SSX Tricky first on Xbox and then had to buy it on PS2 so my wife had another game to unlock all the riders, tricks, and gear on.  Probably my favorite sports game.  The only difference between the two was that on PS2 the uber boards and suits were an aluminum/titanium gray an on Xbox they were Terminator 2 liquid metal.
