Xbox Live Game won't launch

was doing the challenge mission today, and the game just froze up.  at the very end of the mission, of course.  my xbox then crashed.  i rebooted it, and the game wouldn't launch.  i restarted my console a couple more times, still wouldn't launch.  uninstalled, and reinstalled the game, still won't launch. 

my other games work fine.

when i click on the game, it shows the pic of the 3 agents, then the screen goes black, and stays that way.

ok went to xbox support because i found a couple other games that wouldn't launch.  simple fix (this time) by doing a hard reset.   didn't know unplugging the thing would help.  yes, i am a caveman.
