PC Game freezing

Hey guys has anyone else had an issue with your game freezing?

Yesterday I had a mammoth gaming session and it ran fine, but today I wandered into the dark zone which ran great until about an hour in and then the game just froze, forcing me to restart my computer as I couldn't get the task manager up. Now every time I log in it is continually freezing at random points in or out of the dark zone after a few minutes of play time. 

Help? I've tried all the listings I could find in google but they were all about the BETA...

Hi Teggy,

I have the same problem as you except mine is freezing my whole computer. I haven't found a solution yet - this is the only game that crashes the whole system, thus I don't think it's hardware related, but my PSU is having a hard time with my 390X. I'm also curious about RAM since we have the same.

We don't have the exact same setup. Here's mine:

CPU: i7-6700k at stock

GPU: MSI R9 390x at stock

RAM:  Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB DDR4 2800 MHz @ 1.2v (XMP)

MOBO: Gigabyte GA-Z170M-D3H

Storage: Samsung 950 Pro 512GB

PSU: XFX ProSeries P1-650X-XXB9 650W
