Fix the LIberty Pistol

Today I purchased the upgraded blueprint for the LIberty Pistol and when reading it it said that you need some exotic materials. Since there has been ZERO experience in the game with gun upgrading, and since I just bought the freaking blueprint I deconstructed the liberty so I could use that exotic material to use the blueprint and create the upgraded Liberty. 

I received 2 exotic crafting material. Then, when I went to build the pistol via the blueprint, it said something was missing...but I Had checked already, everyone but the exotic material was green...what gives? Well, turns out YOU NEED THE ORIGINAL FUCKING LIBERTY TO CREATE THE UPGRADED VERSION. 

Hey, devs. Fix this shit. This is ridiculous. You need to either put a warning on things that say "you will destroy an item we designed for you to only get once because we are fucking idiots." Or...let us remake items by recollecting the materials...SOMETHING.

Yep, that is the thing.  You have to destroy an exotic in order to get exotic parts to upgrade an exotic.  Farm the shotgun or rifle and break them down if you don't use them and then you can upgrade.

I thought the pistol required 4 pieces and a D50.  Then you can craft.  Then to upgrade to the new World Tier you need to break down an exotic (not the one you want to upgrade).  I am guessing you were looking to upgrade rather than to craft from scratch ?.
