So we're less then a month away from release and I wanted to know what's everyones first intention when they enter the world

Will you go head first into the DZ or do a couple missions first

Upgrade your character and base

For myself I plan on getting a few missions done but will jump into the DZ as soon as possible to try and get me some of that sweet sweet loot to help me on my mission

I'm kind of torn.

I think I would like to play the story on normal, then hard then challenge mode or whatever it calls for.

I'll probably head into the DZ once I have a handle on my skills and as my friends want to go in and chance it out.

I am hoping that I will have a team on and try and power through the story on a tough difficulty. Maybe that will happen...

I figured I play the story on hard by myself or atleast try my best

You could always replay the mission so I thought I could try on hard and if that doesn't work out play on normal and come back to replay each mission on a different difficulty when I have better gear

Story - by myself

DZ - by myself or with group (if I find one)

You should be able to find a group for the DZ, especially by browsing through these forums.

I also want to go into Hard Mode first, but I think this game will be so much more fun with a group of friends, hanging out. I am hoping that I can get a group up and just blast through this game.

Could always roll two Agents. One for group play and one for solo.
I haven't even thought about having multiple Agents, PvP and PvE. Good thinking! I will definitely do that.

I'll be jumping into PvE first. I want to upgrade my B.O.O. before jumping into the DZ.  want to get those Security and med skills up to the task.

I love the dark zone it's a great experience but I will be hitting level 30 before heading into the dark zone proper,

all encounters

all side missions

all main missions

go live in the dark zone

thats the basic plan of action for me

Will the dark zone be possible at first? in other words will we be ranked high enough to do damage? I would like to jump in DZ first thing but I we will see.

You also have to understand you won't get gear that will stick around long if you just dive straight into the DZ.

I didn't see purple (superior) gear being sold at darkzone vendors till I was max level in pve.

Of course it's going to all change in full release but in beta you have to be max level 8 in PVE then level 12 darkzone to purchase high end items .

Keep it in mind ;)

Just a question because I didn't do any dark zone in the closed beta - what if your purpose for going in Dark Zone in early levels is just to farm DZ funds without all the hassle of a lot of Rogue folks?  Do you think that would be a good strategy?

A thing to also think about is that the dark zone kinda has difficulty levels so if you do all the pve content and get to the max level of that then the lower starting off levels of the dark zone will be a breeze and your DZ rank will fly up and make it easier to get deeper in and get better loot.

also I believe once you hit level 30 you get a different instance of the dark zone. I first thought this would mean just seeing other level 30 agents in there but it might buff up the NPCs as well so I'm thinking I may hit a good pve level then just before maxing out check out the dark zone to hopefully get the DZ rank up quicker and easier that way

I plan on going for a fairly even mix.  I'll start with some PvE and unlock a few things but stopping and smelling the roses along the way, gotta search those apartments for a cool pom pom beanie!  I plan on running the missions on hard and heading into the darkzone once in a while for a change of pace and to get my DZ rank moving up.

The reality of it is I will grind out a big mix of the PVE and out side missions. Tune up my team and Agent then hit the DZ for the loot I need to fill in the blanks. See you on the streets.
