DLCs

To confirm, with all the DLCs from The Division, can one play them AND use their current weapons and builds?There seems to be different answers on this, online. I'm now on Gear Score 221, and played quite a few hours today (Random Missions \ Challenging). 

I've not purchased a DLC before, thus curious, before I venture into those. And, since 1.5 is about to be released, I should just wait, no?ThanksIvan

I thought you could get any gear set to drop now, irrespective to whether you have the DLC. Maybe before, back in 1.3, people without Underground wouldn't see some gear sets, such as Blind/Firecrest/Reclaimer, as they only dropped UG. And Alphabridge and DeadEye was available to all, as they dropped outside of UG.  Not to mention that the Blind is now Banshee, which is dz focus not UG.

The only DLC mission that will loose you the ability to use your weapons / builds will be survivor when it drops as you start with more or less nothing.

The other missions you go in to as you are in the open world (whatever weapons and build you currently have equipped) just like doing a daily mission.
