Sorry to hear this. The Division has always been a bit of a bug farm. The 1.6 update is coming soon isn't it? That may fix your problem.

PC Change to Full Screen Crash

when the game loads to the window - hit alt-enter - and low and behold, full screen - wow what a performance change.
Now I may not be that slow old man lol

OK so how do I edit a post - I see no option for that.
Need to add that you need to hit alt-enter just as the game window pops up. Wait even 10 seconds will get a crash response.

Another great outcome is I can turn the graphics up to high to get more depth of field and get great sniping shots. The performance improvement over windowed is great. Using a HD7970 with 1600x1200 res - I get a almost constant 60 FPS - which is the refresh limit of the ancient LCD screen.

But...
I have noted that every once and a while it will go back to windowed - not sure why. It's small annoyance as I alt-enter to kill the game and restart paying attention to hit alt-enter when the screen first appears.

Fixed every issue I had disabling Uplay and Steam in-game Overlay. Enabled and had the same issues. Kinda miss the FPS counter.

While I need to test more this seems to be fixed. I can move from full screen to windowed - at least before the char screen shows.
Maybe I will try it while playing - maybe not. If I do I will report back.

I can report that this issue is now completely fixed for me (Radeon HD 7970). Drop 1.6 forced a driver update as the game would not launch. SO I am unsure who fixed it, but it's fixed. I can at will go back and forth windows/full screen.
