“Those who do only harm to society has no place in it. It does not need the leeches that take everything and contribute nothing. Those who prey upon the people and cause civilization to fall into anarchy are nothing more than savage beasts.
Imagine a society, a city, as a living body. If one of the limbs on this body is infected beyond saving and instead poses a threat to the body as a whole, it is amputated. If the body is diseased, then the disease is killed by the body’s immune system or by a cure, or a combination of both.
Our city, New York, is the skeleton. The buildings are the bones. The good citizens are what makes up the body itself; all the organs and the blood running through the veins. The Joint Task Force is the immune system; the city’s own response. The rioting gangs, the Rikers, the Cleaners and the Last Man Battalion….all those who prey upon and oppress their fellow citizens? They’re the disease. The cancer.
