Lack of players in the Dark Zone

Good morning/afternoon/evening world,

Me and my buddies are currently at the player bracket of 26-29. When we team up and go in the dark zone, there is a severe lack of other players.

I am just wondering, should we just level up to level 30 and then go back in the Dark Zone as it will be more populated?

Just wanted your thoughts on this and perhaps what level you are currently playing at?

Personally, I haven't paid attention prior to 30 but now that I reached this level every time I go into dz I encounter at least a few groups doing named farming . Id say it's populated enough , no complaints from me

Maybe I should get to level 30 first and go back in. I just didn't want to blast the campaign to quickly.

Basically you can get into DZ always at the last level of your bracket.
Get some nice items, sell rest so you can buy superior gear when you hit 30 etc. Remember to spec for scavenging to get more superior drops from mobs.
Actually enjoy less populated brackets, when you hit 30 it will be wild west there, especially now after the patch rogues are more common.

Yea, I need to get that scavenging perk asap.
 

I don't mind the rogues, we always have 4 of us on, so hunting rogues or being rogue is not a problem. Especially since the latest update and when you co-ordinate an attack.

True to that , especially when you are in group. Still note that you will be fresh 30ties (lol). There is a huge difference between 30 and 31 lvl items and superior to high-end comparison. I wish you luck , but experience says that you will get smashed in encounter with DZ50 rank players.

I thought the level cap was at 30. I am slightly confused now as haven't read much about the end-game stuff.

lever cap is 30..however the dark zone level cap is 99. two different levels. DZ has its own level system

I got you now.

Yea I am level 27 at the moment and my DZ rank is 38. Since the patch, I have flow up the DZ ranking.

The level cap is 30, but there is level 31 gear that is available to you through crafting and some of the DZ vendors once you hit level 30.
