Is it just me or does the download for pts take ages

Just remember that the PTS is effectively a whole new game that's a full on digital DL. It's also probably not optimized for space, so those two factors can probably explain how slow it's going.

PTS isn't like a shortened down beta version, it's the full game. So you're essentially downloading 40+ GB lol. No wonder it takes a while if you have mediocre or bad internet. That's the downside of the PTS.

Yep - though I am PC also, it took overnight to download - as it failed the first time. It probably would not have been as slow but I am confined to wireless to for the near term.
