I have cleared my entire stash and got my gear score down below 200 and they are still putting me in to 230+. What can I do or did they fix this?

There's a couple things that could be going on here.  If you're matchmaking, you could be getting pulled into the 231+ DZ because of the people you're matching with.

If that's not the case, when you say you "cleared my entire stash", did you clear both your stash and inventory?  GS calculates on your highest possible gear score based on what's equipped, what's in your inventory, and what's in your stash.

If it's neither of those, there have been some issues with glitches or bugs in the way character's GS is calculated which could be the problem.  I don't see anything currently under Known Issues on the Ubi Division Forum, so you might want to post your info and the issue on their forum.

Edit: One thing I forgot, there's an option you can check in settings that says you accept the challenge and will play in higher DZ.  This is typically used when a lower level friend wants to roll with higher ups (say a 215 friend with 235 players), so you might check to see if that was approved and possibly uncheck it if it is enabled.

Actually I don't like sharing this and I hope you don't bring this up to Massive's attention elsewhere.

First of all, don't believe the GS number on the screen. That has different calculation from DZ GS.

Secondly, clear your Stash, Inventory, and Extraction. Transfer it to another character or sell them.

Now the formula to DZ GS is:

Add highest GS of 6 gear parts you own, then add one highest GS from weapon. Divide total by 7.

The result on your calculator will be slightly higher than what you see on screen. But you should trust the number in calculator.

After this, log out of your character to refresh the in-game DZ calculation.

Example: 268 (chest) + 268 (bag) + 240 (kneepad) + 240 (Hostler) + 204 (gloves) + 204 (mask) + 204 (weapon) = 1628 /7 = 232.5

Your result in this example is 232.5 or 233. Hence you'll be transferred to GS230+.

Thanks everyone who commented on my subject. I spent hours trying to figure out how to get out of DZ 231+ because I am a solo player and just can't farm above DZ 2 by myself. I will try this when I get home tonight from work.

Even in the 201-230 DZ it can be tough to farm much higher than 3 or 4 if you're running solo.  Good luck on altering your score and with the solo farming.

Yep. DZ03-04 are basically DZ01-02 in 231+ and so on.

It's better for you to stay in DZ01-02. Hopefully you can meet other farmers too in Rogue-free DZ like I did last time.
