So, Crit% back on SMGs. Does this mean AUGs will be back in style? Though, I think part of their demise was through the re-balancing.
Nice that they have given the SMG some love, it used to be all about them at one point...vector was very popular. I miss my pp19 with 25% extra rate of fire magazine.

Mp5 for me these days...

Yeah, have a mp5 with a PM build that I'm very attached to. When I started vector and midas were all the go. Not that I found any good ones. Enjoyed the AUG, and the pp19 from the underground, a very handy beastie lol. Another toon has a converted usc, but still not as good as a nice rolled mp5.

My go-to has always been the navy MP5 ST.  I like the look of the gun and it holds it's own as a CQB weapon.  I'm currently carrying two on my main toon.  He's got one for his PM Tank build and a different one for his shield build that I started tweaking last night. Ran with some mods that I don't always use on my shield build, namely a laser and mag that has quick reload over some of the other stats.  It still had +110% capacity, I've got 67 rounds that reload pretty quick and I can basically close on enemies and hold down the trigger to just face tank.  With my talents, mods and backpack, I've yet to have a shield break, although I really need to test it on something harder than Lex CM.
