PC Memory leak???

so this is the second time The Division has crash on me today ( since I just bought it this morning) and windows is shutting it down because I'm running out of memory. MSI after burner shows max pagefile usage at 17317....thats insane. Anyone else getting this?

  My Rig: AMD 8350 @ 4.6

                            2x XFX 390x's crossfire( not that crossfire is working at all yet)

                            16gb Kingston HyperX @ 1866 mhz

                             Cougar 1200w 80+ PSU

Same thing is happening to me. I start out at 7.5gb ram and 10gb page file. This increases to 14gb ram and 18gb page file after about fifteen minutes and my game starts stuttering like crazy. I have 16gb ram and 2x gtx 780s, but I'm only running one because sli is garbage atm. Not quite sure what to do, but if I figure anything out I'll post back here.

I have the same problem. Game uses more RAM as the time passes. After half an hour or so game uses 5+ gb RAM and crashes afterwards. Need a solution.

Hey Dragonx,

Firstly, I would go into your CMOS when you boot up to test your RAM. When you startup, press whatever key it is for your setup. There usually is a option in there to test your RAM sticks and that can sometimes tell you if your have a bad stick or a leak. I can't give your a direct place to look because most people have different CMOS setups. You sorta have to look around for it yourself in there.

However, it could also just be the game, as it only did just come out. But I would recommend testing your sticks first.

Yea I tested the memory sticks and updated the bios to latest version. There seems no problem with the hardware. I guess I gonna do a os reinstall.

Seems more a problem with the game itself. Unless it's not just The Division your having a leak in?

Yeah only Division :letdown: . Witcher 3 full settings 1080p 6 hours play session and it doesn't pass 2,5 gb ram usage.

Same here, Witcher 3 @ 4K and I dont go 5GB...or any other game this is the first and only time I've ever even seen this error in a game.
