So with the changes in 1.6, what gearsets are now working best for you in what activities ?.

I have tried 4 sets so far...

Activity: Legendary Missions (this is a bit subjective as it depends on who I am playing with as well as I play with randoms).

Striker: Fairly well optimised - Not doing so well with these missions for me.  Consistancy of being able to proc and keep high the 4 piece sorta makes me think about going for 3 piece with something else.

Alphabridge: Medium optimised - Whilst I liked it in 1.5 (just started playing around with it), The lack of easy switching between weapon sets make it a bit too clumbersome for my liking.  At the Napalm plant where the survive the assault is I found it too troublesome to try and switch between snipers and ARs to combat the rushers, for example.

Tactitans Authority: Medium Optimised - This was a bit of a surprise.  I am actually doing pretty well with this build.  It seems reasonably powerful and the skill power, I am finding pretty helpful in keeping me alive.

D3-FNC: Tried this today and am actually quite enjoying it.  The agro system is working for sure as even without the shield up the bad guys seem to gun for me most of the time.  Half the time I am using it just ot distract so the others can flank and kill.  It is also an ineresting balance on stats as electronics is needed for a stronger shield, health for survival if the shield goes down or someone flanks and firepower to actually hurt the Legendary bad guys.

So my two favs for now are Tactitians Auth and D3-FNC.

What sets are others now playing ?.  Any surprises ?.

perennial fav would be my firecrest build . + Mdr and usually smg.

Predator's Mark + police M4 + mp5. It works very well.

Now in 1.6 I've been trying Deadeye + Historian. Great dps, very squishy esp when you live looking into the scope constantly. Makes cool bang noises too.

I loved the historian in PTS until the double / triple nerf'd it.  I don't have a heavy Firearms based Agent to try it out with at the moment.  My highest was my AlphaBridge Agent who went over to D3-FNC and as that required high skill power for shield health, firearms took the hit.  i may have to roll the 350k Toughness down a bit and try it out.  I suspect my tacticians will be pretty good with the shield but no SMG without D3-FNC 4 piece due to the skill power.  Interestingly I see MarcoStyle has posted a new healer build using it for 1.6.

What events are you doing mostly in 1.6 or just a mix of all ?.

So far I've only played like 1.5-2hrs (left for work trip Wed and still gone), but my 1st toon that has Predator's Mark and D3-FNC sets still seems to be doing ok in 1.6.  I took about a 70k-80k toughness hit on the PM set, but my mitigation is like 31%-32% so it's still working the same for me.

Once I get some time to play my plan is to try running my toon with the Reclaimer and Banshee builds and I need to test my toon with the tactician's authority set and finish the HE backup for that toon.

Well the change to the historian suited my deadeye build. I had a good alhabrifge but a nice opportunity to try something different. been busy so only just getting into 1.6. haven't tried much of the new stuff since pts.

Yeah, I bought a Historian and DeadEYE, you basically guarantee a crit and wreck people with the 700 x firearms damage plus crit damage.
