"With the launch of The Division just a week away, we thought it was a good time to update you on exactly when servers will go live and when reviews will start to come out.

The Division was always designed to be a seamless online experience, giving players the option to play solo or group with fellow Agents to tackle missions and infiltrate the Dark Zone as a squad. Thanks to the feedback and participation of a record-setting 6.4 million players in the beta, we know many of you took up arms with others and saw first-hand how The Division’s unique gameplay experiences were brought to life by a large and active player population.

Since it’s impossible for us to populate the servers in a way that would adequately replicate playing The Division on launch day, reviewers will start playing the game along with everyone else when it’s released on March 8 – after the servers go live officially at 00:01AM Australian Eastern Daylight Time (AEDT). We anticipate there may be some impressions posted online within the first few days of launch that were based on experiences with The Division Beta, and we look forward to seeing streams, videos, and opinions that provide accounts of final, in-game conditions.

Players who have purchased digital copies can begin preloading today for Xbox One; Thursday, March 3 at 6PM CET / 9AM PT for PC (Steam/Uplay); and March 6 at 00:01AM local time on PlayStation 4 – except Japan where it will be available on March 8 at 00:01AM. In the US, digital copies of The Division for Xbox One, PS4, and PC will be active at 12:01AM EST on March 8.

We can’t wait for you to share these and other Division moments as you explore the streets and begin your journey to save New York City. Thank you for your continued support."

Okay so I misread, haha Digital AND physical are being released at 12am eastern march 8th. But across the pond they will be playing it almost 2 days before us.. QQ. Damn I want to be a kiwi now :( :( :(  I remember this happening in other games (lik destiny), but doesn't sting as much as The division :P

If I pre ordered the game from GameStop and it's supposed to be shipped to my house on the 8th. Do you think it would get to my doorstep in time or would I get it a day late?

Ok thx. I haven't bought from GS in a long time, but they had a good deal in Nov. when I preordered.

I have to wait until 10am Tuesday morning before I can get my physical copy. Where I preordered from didn't get enough preorders to do a midnight release :-(

My expectations is that, the clusterfudge of people flooding the servers, will cause them to crash and leave and cause a fudging pandemonium for a few hours.

Then I get out of my bed, start my day, hopefully get my copy in the mail approx 6-7 hours after initial launch, where the worst server flooding have subsided, and maasive got everything up and running :P I pre-ordered the Sleeper Agent Edition for the sole reason of the watch for my cosplay, and the fact that I am a sucker for artbooks!

So much this... lol.  Then everyone will complain about how its the worst launch ever.  Just like every other game with server issues.

i cant wait! i havent been this jumpy since christmas as a wee child haha, only bonus since im on guam i usually get to play a day before people on mainland. hopefully my time telling skills arent blah and im correct again and play the second its available. im so tempted to call in sick to both school and work just to play longer

I am anticipating a LONG day of work, with a break at lunch to run to Gamestop to pick up the physical copy of the game.  Then I'll have to install the game when I get home and WAIT for hours while taking care of the kids.  Kids won't be in the basement that night- my son loves device power buttons too much!
