You know he is going rogue

Had this a bit in the beta and i cant think of a tactic or solution for this at all.

So you have killed the rogue or chased him countless times. You see him, he sees you. There is nothing you can do till he takes more then half your health as he is not rogue till then.

Or you take the initiative and take him out first, now your rogue and everyone wants to kill you.

Is there a tactic i am missing or how did you guys deal with this other then being in a group?

Not much tactic involved on my part. When I see a guy like that who went rogue multiple times I just go for him myself. If he wants to be an ass, so be it but don't think I'll be waiting to take him out. It does depend on what loot I'm carrying though.

Yes I go rogue too but either I run for it, or I keep standing next to the corpse, not looting him, with my hands up (surrender emote) and going through proximity chat telling people it was a rogue himself.

The running after 1 kill works most of the time as it is only 90 seconds or something. The not-running idea works not as often though

They do need to change this baiting tactic though, it's screwed up.

I'm just the better shot. I watch them like a hawk if I've seen them go rogue consistently and if they start it I shoot them in the face until they die.
Well said. When said person is in the near vicinity don't take your eyes off of them and get a vantage point

The def need the damage to go rogue mechanic to happen behind the scenes. Not really fair that someone can sap you of 25% of your health and then go rogue. You at a double disadvantage then.

Well honestly? There is no guaranteed solution, *doing Arrekz voice* BUT! There is different ways what you can do beside becoming rogue.

At first I'd recommend to take some distance, no matter what happens, he won't get you down fast enough that way so you can hide quick at least.

Another way is to actually provoke him, like shooting him with low damage several times and wait for the reset of the intern timer that is indicated by his now red health bar.

You could also get out of the DZ and get back in to get into another server instance where he most likely won't be.

If you're still having loot you could call for an extraction and do that till there is other players that could help you out as soon as this dude shoots you.

So that's basically the quick solution guide that I can give you. Worked the whole Beta for me, but I was with at least 1 mate most of the time, though the solo DZ was fun aswell! Hopefully that helps you!

Last night, it was a lot harder for me to spot rogues or even see the names of other agents last night if they weren't in my team.  I had to get close to the agent and hold down the right analog stick to see their info, by then it was too late.  There was this one guy that kept killing me, even though I had no loot.  I guess he though he was just playing COD Deathmatch.  Him and his buddies just running around griefing.  Am I missing something?  Is there an easier way to see names from further away?  A setting I can change or something.  I'd prefer to be able to know if it's the same guy before he's right on top of me so I can prepare better next time.

I had that issue for a bit last night too. just restart the game, your UI is glitched.

I like to throw down a turret as a strong message. Always remember the names of unprovoked rouges (I'm making a list). Be cautious of anyone giving you more than a 2nd look especially if they don't have any loot themselves.

Im pretty sure that the 25% rule is intended to mitigate accidental friendly fire whether that be a surprise reaction shooting or a line of sight issue.

The fact that it was just the beta was giving some the desire to play TDM and I admittedly tried that role just messing around. Stumbled into one DZ entrance where a guy must have been checking out his inventory. It was a cheap shot but he should have ducked around a corner first or something, lmao

Once we get the fullversion. ALL this gameplay and ways we think to handle the DZ will go out the window. The little box they called the DZ was so small for the size they shoved 24 ppl in. They said the Darkzone # limit of player will change possibly...... so who knows how it really will be like.

I cant really say how i play but its all about that first jump before they can get you first

I enjoy going rogue... Ill steal the loot but that usually isnt my main goal. Most of time it just like well fuck it lets see how long I can last. Usually not long which is ok. It's a PVP environment so might as well shoot another player in the face once in a while. Helps keep the tense since it is called the Dark Zone.
