In order to give our podcast a unique Division Forums feel, we're hoping to have a special segment that we can call our own.  Because we want this podcast to have input from the listeners and the users of the forum, we're looking to you to offer suggestions on a special segment that we could include in each episode.

Possibly ideas include:

  • Fail of the Week - Possibly a video of a player taunting a downed foe only to see him/her get ganked by another player
  • #justdivisionthings - A highlight of one or more Division shenanigans from the this thread on the forums
  • Community Highlight - Some form of highlight of content (video, artwork, story, etc.) created by a listener or forum user
If you have an idea for a segment name or idea, post it below so we can see what the listeners and forum users would like to hear.  Please note, suggestions become the property of the podcast and will not entitle the person offering them to any kind of compensation.

Community Hightlight and #justdivisionthings are awesome ideas to me. Possibly squeeze all 3 of them in, depending on how long each podcast will be? Do you know the length you're going for yet? Possibly get some guests on in the future as well?

That's definitely a good idea, try to combine some ideas together.  I know SotG is trying to add some more community content and that Bombshell Jackets has done user stories in the past, so we want to keep it interesting, unique and really something that the listeners and viewers will like and come back to.

I think we're going to shoot for 30-40 min per episode and we're looking to try and have guests once we get established.  We'd like to have some consistent hosts, but it would be nice to have forum staff guest host so we could do some "Meet the Staff" kind of stuff.  Also, we'll probably try and get some lesser known players to give us a different feel, but I don't think we'd shy away from some of the bigger names if we could get them.

Keeping it sweet and short. Not a bad way to do things. I'd be willing to help out where I can. Although I haven't really used photoshop in probably 4 years. So I'm not sure how much help I'll be on the logo.

Defiantly get smaller names on. Cannot forget them. Especially because without the causal players, small streamers, youtubers, etc, we don't have as big as a community. Now do we?

This was the idea that I pitched to @g1nt3r.  I'm a casual player that while I don't min/max or make build vids, I think I can explain basic mechanics to newer players to help with the learning curve.  As such, we think it would be great to bring on maybe new steamers with a small following or people that don't usually hit the big casts to help introduce them to the community and/or help them out with an issue that many gamers might have.

And any thoughts and input the forums staff has would be much appreciated.   We'd love to have any of the staff drop by when they can or help with editing and post show work, etc.  If it's just support you can offer & help promoting the podcast, we'll take it.  We're going to hit the ground running, see where things go and take any help we can get.
