How to get english audio and text to your game if you have region restrictions.
So the journey to english language in the game began with my 1 month of talking to a Ubi support. Its not that i needed to convince them to help me get english language.

When i asked support actually said that they understand my will and ADDED WW language pack to my account.

I was so happy. I ended a chat and went to the game. Then i turned on both audio and text.

BUT adio worked only in dark zone! Basically i could hear audio like "Entering dark zone" etc.

But When it came to story missions. I couldn't hear any talks. Radio chatter was like pshhht *no talks* pshht. Like the first buzzing and ending buzzing of a radio. Basically ALL story missions were silent. I wrote to support and a really nice guy was looking into problem for so long. Then he eventually said that he is sorry but he can't find a solution.

A day ago. I was playing PTS and thought like. PTS is completly in english for me. And it works fine. So i looked into game folder and found out that my Rus locked game DOESN'T have few files. Basically I got a game in Rus lock and it even did'nt donwload english files as it doesn't use them!

So what i did was copyed filed from PTS version folder to my main one and when i started my game crashed. Then i checked local files it downloaded like 4,5 gb. And when i started my main version of the game. I FINALLY got it working. My game was in full english text and audio! Now i can use english language with pleasure and have fun.
Steps on how to get it.
1. Write to live chat support that you need english language pack for you game.

You need a good reason for it. 'JUST BECAUSE' is not a reason for you to get english pack

For me the reason was that i could really adapt to watching youtube videos where ppl spoke about gear sets and then translate it into russian and it was taking to much for me to explain what I got to my friends from germany, uk etc.

2. When you get it. You go to your game and switch everything to ENGLISH in language section.

3. You quit the game and got to PTS folder and copy 'rogue' folder COMPLETLY (around 39 gb

4. You copy then this folder to your main game folder and replace ALL files.

5. Try launching the game. For me it loaded till "connection" screen and then crashed with no error.

6. Verify local files of you main game and then try starting it again.

After this you should have your game in English. with no problem.

Note that:

1. You HAVE to redownload the game after english pack is added to your game by support team.

2. After you redownload the game try to launch it first and test english pack. Maybe for you it will work just by reinstalling the game. (For me it didn't work)

I wanna thank Ubisoft support for taking so much time and helping me getting english pack for my game. Hope I helped someone with his stuggles (:

Sorry for some mistakes. Will edit the post later. If you do need help you can talk to me. But remember I'm not online 24/7 ;D

Thank you for your post! Have just contacted the US support via live chat. The agent (after checking things) was able to help, switching my copy to international, I reckon, because I got all languages unlocked. But I had no need to re-install the game or take any actions you've described - it just downloaded additional 5 GB after I re-loged into Uplay.

I must admit I was skeptical at first and was surprised how nice the support at Ubisoft works. Same as EA, good job.

Glad i was able to help. I dont know whats the problem with my game at this point but everytimw i have to follow the steps i described D:

but i got my languagw pack >:D

I apologize for necroposting, but what is the best method to contact the support? I'm facing the same issue. I've recently bought the Gold Edition and during the free weekend on Steam the game was in english, surprisingly, despite the fact that it was said on the Store page that the purchases made in my region will receive the russian language only (this was actually the main reason I hesitated to buy the game for so long until now because I finally had an opportunity to test it without buying it), otherwise I wouldn't bother to buy it because I don't speak russian. When I've launched the game today everything was in russian and I couldn't change the language anywhere. This is kinda discriminating in my opinion. :|

You want to be going to here: https://support.ubi.com/en-US

At the top left of the black menu bar, there is a flag. Use that to select your country, and submit a ticket.
