Enemies are Stronger?

I and my team usually play on daily basis; doing HVT and such. So we know how the Elites and Veterans from different level feel like.

Last week, on the day X1 and PC got 1.3 patch, I asked my mates if they feel the enemies are more spongey and lethal somehow, especially when all of us pretty much have been stuck with the same gears and guns for weeks, everyone agreed. Then, one of us went out of town last week and I never hit the game until yesterday, the 1.3 dropped on PS4.

Yesterday I teamed up with 3 randoms from GS 170, 217, and 220+. I was GS 220, but I was that one bloated GS guy. It took a couple of failure until we became a solid team taking down HVTs. But then again, the enemies were indeed stronger than before. For example: the heavy machine gunner now feels like a freaking rapid sniper, compared to last time which made you unstable while slowly eating your health. Then the absurd general armor and health rate. Pulse + headshot don't feel like a thing, unless 4 guys planting half/full mag on one head. Focus fire is always a good idea, except in this game where enemies are basically Anti-Tank Panzers.

Do you guys feel the buff too?

Yep, with you there buddy. DZ6 was virtually unplayable! I was in a squad with some friends and these guys are pretty handy. We got our asses handed to us by the Level 35 Elites. We wimped out and rinsed DZ3 instead.

Ha, I just wanted to quote hidden content...

...oooh I guess I should actually post something now lol

Whatever pcp or meth those baseball batters are on (cuz, honestly, who else runs directly into gunfire yelling "RAARGH!" with a baseball bat) must have gotten stronger.  Like, Heisenberg strong.

Not only do the mobs in the new dz do much more damage, appear to have a faster rate of fire, and have a ton more hit points, they also move much faster and are much more aggressive.

 
Well from my experience yesterday in the DZ, yess they are stronger but it is totally doable...I died probably 2 times by cleaners in 2 hours run and we were all 231

GS...but it takes longer to kill them, You just have to revise the strategies with your team just a little bit.

I am very please with the changes for now, you get good gear and weapons in a short time.

Those baseball batters sound like they have constipation for lack of fruits and veggies that now they want to dump the load while running and it's so freaking hard down there that they could take all of our bullets like Tony Montana.

 
They seem to be a bit tougher in the Underground as well.  

I was able to just walk through them, more or less, on hard like I could in the first 4 HVT dailies solo but last night they required a bit of work and planning.

I am getting the impression that Toughness now has a distinct point of diminishing returns.  I am up to 450k and am still getting one shotted on challenge mode (75% armour damage mitigation).  For some reason snipers just love going for me.....

GS bloat seems to be quite bad.  I am on GS250 (FireCrest 268s x 4 and Deadeye 268 x 2, 2x 226 and 1x 182 weapons).  Not my first choice but best for stats and collection I have.  Challenge mode is still very challenging.  Partnered up with someone else I found matchmaking Lexington on Challenging and Heroic modes who had 550k health and tanked it with a moveable cover, a pistol doing 100k+ damage and Sentries Call to tag enemies.  He went down a few times but mainly to flamethrowers.   The other challenge mode enemies were not that effictive against him.  Probably because all the snipers were taking turns to drop me  :8_laughing: .

 
Challenging should be renamed as Tedious Mode.

While Heroic makes us nothing heroic at all. It should be renamed as 'Get Spanked Like a Bitch' Mode

 
Does that look like a nice build? I posted in the wrong form I thought it was the rogue thread my bad. New to the site wanna see what people think of what I'm running. Just took some more off skill power and more to dps seeing a lot against other agent.
