PC Delta Error Code 20000988 PC

I ma able to get into the character selection screen, options menu and so on. When i click the continue button the game will attempt to connect to the servers. One of the two things happen. I go into que to log into the servers, once the game loads and i am in the servers i walk 2 steps and get the delta error code "20000988" OR i will just attempt to connect to the servers and get the error code. Only happening since the update as i was playing last night right up until 1130 est with "0" issues. If anyone has any inside that would greatly be appreciated. Please don't give me fixes for other error code commands unless you know for a fact that you know the issue, preferably ubisofts input would be very helpful.

I get the same problem. I got the game through steam and can find no evidence that it has patched, so could be a version error.

I restarted steam and it seems to have fixed it.

Can we please get an update about this error? This is very frustrating because i cant keep playing for more than 3 minutes without me getting lagged out and dissconnected after i enter the world. Massive lag everywhere, dps appears on npc after about 1.5sec from shooting and sometimes doesnt appear, when i connect to friends massive lags and i cant see them running even if they are and i get dissconnected with that delta error after 2 minutes.

I cant play solo or with friends. The update broke everything for me. I have all the ports forward and everything was fine until the patch and now i cant kill or do anything without disconnecting a minute or two in the game.

Having the same issue.. I've went through about dozen different guides and nothing seemed to work. Fixed all my router settings doing the port thing, making sure everything was enabled or disabled, and did all the command prompt ways. I've factory reset my router, and factory reset my computer... same thing ): But at least i'm not alone haha

I have got the same problem. Tried a bunch of times in the last 2 hours.... still the same DELTA 20000988 Error comes up.

I manage to get into the game, stay connected for about 2 minutes with massive lag and then I get kicked out with the error code.

Would be nice to fix that, only appeared since this afternoon and patch was this morning. (played this morning and had other errors)

It seems the whole game is a mesh of errors.... kind of sick of MIKE and DELTA errors....

Same issue here, just bought it and Delta 20000988 pops out right after the cinematic... Really disappointing.

Same error here.. Contacted Ubi support and they threw the "connectivity troubleshoot guide" at me!! Disabled Firewalls of all kinds, opened ports of all kinds and still getting the same error since the patch!

Anyway to roll back?!

I tried flushing my DNS and surprisingly everything worked after.. I was able to finish multiple missions since I did that..

Open CMD (Running as Admin)

Type in :   ipconfig /flushdns

will try this later on to see if it helps, anyone else have some insight on this, i'm interested to see if it can be this simple for all. if not i guess a fresh install might help.
